WANTED: Adjectives.....

How can I ever find the right words to properly describe this weekend in Washington State with the most lovely ladies in the country????  I can't., so I'll spend the next few days sharing photos...

The Dream Girls.....

 

I arrived on Thursday night and we picked Jeanne up at the airport on FRiday and headed into Kent for some greek food and this awesome tea.....

 

Here are my sweet girlfriends Jeanne and Tiffany....

 

Then we arrived at Tiffany's beautiful home, a farmhouse in a beautiful rural town....

 

With our Starbucks in hand, we began a lookie through Tiffany's homestead...

On Friday night, Tiffany hosted a huge dinner and slumber party for all the girls, and we started off the evening with Kim's  delicious chocolate martinis.....

Fancy Farmgirl, Here I Come!

That's my girlfriend Tiffany who really is a Fancy Farmgirl living on the outskirts of Seattle .  Heading off to her house to meet up with some other peeps for a Dream Girls Weekend including a class with Terri Brush!!!

When I return I will have to post photos and tell you about my fab day yesterday with my girlfriends Suz and Tricia....  bye for now!

It Started With A Cocktail......

 

I flew out to California on Friday to stay with my girlfriend and BFF Mary.  On Friday we went here:

On Friday night, Mary and I drove over to Kelly's house to go out for dinner.  I don't have any photos of Kelly or her lovely family, but we did get with this groovy peep, Pilar:

 

And during our frenzied photo taking, I got this photo of Pilar, Mary and I:

 

Then on Saturday I went to see my girlfriend Nancy, who owns Gilding the Lily- a sweet slice of vintage heaven:

And made a Charlotte doll under glass...

 

Pilar made those cute fingerless gloves I'm wearing in the photos.

And a super special treat was bumping into my friend Karla!!!!  We met 2 1/2 years ago at Sparkle Bella when it was in Phoenix!  It was very thrilling to see her if only for a little bit!

 

And tomorrow is another big day.....

Spring Weekend with my "Peeps":

On Friday morning Earleen came over for breakfast and we headed out to sightsee and shop in downtown Phoenix.  

  

First stop, Dutch Brothers for coffee:

 

Where we met with local artist and made a couple purchases.....

 

 

 One of our stops was Melrose Vintage:

And we got to visit with store owner Wendy....

Then next door where we did some clothing shopping...

 

Then on to Frilly Frocks (the most amazing studio/store) where I purchased my first piece of 

 Magnolia Pearl clothing pieces!!!!

 

 

That evening, I ordered in some Pita Jungle and more peeps came over......

  

 

Earleen and Annette made us all these fab cake plates on a stand, and Earleen provided dessert; cupcakes and her Ice Cream Tiramisu....

 

  

 

 

 

And on Saturday, we attended CArol Wingerts most amazing class!  Food friends and a great project- the day was extraordinary!!  Just have a look:

On Sunday, Joy, Earleen and I went to the Antique Market and I made a few nice scores.....more on that tomorrow!!

Living Like Royalty...

Not champagne and bon-bons.

Embroidery, the long forgotten pastime of Royals and aristocrats.  While waiting all day for the carpet cleaner (who arrived several hours late) I embroidered.
