Fun in the Rain....and then The Sun Came Out....

My trip to Mexico was perfect!  We are blessed to live about 3 1/2 hours by car to the sandy shores of Puerto Penasco, Mexico.

We had overcast skies and rain when we arrived on Friday:

Woke up Saturday for a walk along the beach and felt the cool ocean water on my feet....

A Date, A Friend and a Journal.......

Al and I went to the theater on Thursday night to see the play August: Osage County:

  

It was really good- if you think your family is dysfunctional, you should see these folks! Drama with dark comedy.

And finally, I've been stitching away like a mad woman making tons of journal pages and working in mine!  I'll have a few up for sale in the next couple of days....

 

  

It's Sunny and Warm....

  

My pool looks inviting doesn't it??  It's way to cold to swim in, but I could heat up the hot tub if you'd care to join me...... 

As I mentioned before, I've been working like crazy on the journal's I made in Mary Ann Moss' class.  Here are two extra I made that I'd like to offer for sale....I can't stop making them!

Right before Christmas, my girlfriend Colleen came into town and our friend Sherry hosted a special luncheon for her:

I'll share more this week- it's very cool.  I actually went crazy having fun making these and I have 2 more that I will probably list in my etsy shop in the next several days.  Along with the extra aprons I made.....and the dolly tassels.....  I've been crafting like crazy!
