That's a lot of weight lost 46 pounds! Check out this queerish photo:
I call it queer because I posed. And I didn't smile. And, I need a new bra....the one I have is too big so it's doing a bad job keeping the "girls" up. That will be on my list of things to do.
Eating has been very difficult for me these last several weeks. I haven't had much of a taste for food. How different that is for me! In the past, this kind of stress would have my face buried in bowls of mashed potatoes, quarts of ice cream and, well, anything that could be eaten in the house. Food just doesn't taste so good. I'm finding so many strange coincidences. My original date for gastric bypass surgery was scheduled for August 29th. That was the same day my mom went into hospice. Thank God my surgeon's office was so compassionate- they moved up my date so we could be sure my mom would see me losing weight before she died. Of course, I never expected her to die so soon.
Back to eating. I love my new life. I still have some food restrictions while my pouch is healing, but I am adapting. Breakfast is still limited to eggs, beans or a protein bar. Some mornings I long for oatmeal or cereal, but my body isn't ready yet. Lunch consists of tuna salad, beans, shrimp....pretty much any protein. Dinner I had been trying to eat what I feed my family, but sometimes it's hard. I tried to eat some steak....didn't work and even came right back up. I "regurgitate after almost every dinner! I think it's because I am eating way to fast, and not chewing my food long enough. The bariatric center suggests you eat your meals alone for a while so just this thing doesn't happen. But, I want to be with my family at dinner, so I pay the price. Yesterday I had to eat on the road, so I had 1/3 of a Chicken Salad Croissant sandwich from Arby.s For some reason, the croissant doesn't bother me where bread would expand and make me feel really gross. One thing I have every night is a "No Sugar Added" fudgecicle. I've always enjoyed desert....it's kind of like a little ritual after the dishes are cleaned up and I've finished any other chores I sit down on the sofa for a treat. It really does the trick. I find I eat 4 times a day because late afternoon I really need a snack. The snack is usually a cheese stick or peanuts....something with a little protein and salty flavor. Old habits are hard to die!
A first-class basis designed for writing “triggers” is the chat negotiations that obtain lay resting on Facebook and appear on top of your Newsfeed casino. The subsequent is a segment as of just one of these:
“…bingo and the church. isn't gambling a sin thus far it's c4sin00n0n worn as a fundraiser intended for the church?”
Bingo is positively a form of betting since the players contribute a fee in sort to play a game of chance to win superior sums of money. Lotteries are betting other than they have turn out to be socially suitable for the reason that they are imaginary to live as long as funds for praiseworthy causes except the players are only tiresome to win the larger prizes that are satisfied to an enormously little figure of participants.
And, depending upon where you survive, mare racing, plague racing, slot apparatus, poker, sports outcomes and numerous supplementary actions have develop into socially good enough forms of gambling casino. Even the Internet provides access to these forms of gambling with unreliable degrees of access all through the world.

Oh, honey - you look incredible! So elegant - but then I think you are a very classy lady (tho' we've only met in person once...!) Are you going to Artfest? I will be going this year (2008) - if you are there it will be great to see you and give you a big hug! Jamie

Congratulations! You look awesome. I know what you mean when you say that you have no taste for food. I don't really either. I have head hunger but nothing really tastes that good.
Please accept my most sincere condolences for your loss.
