I wasn't able to head to Temecula this weekend, so I missed all these sweet peeps:
Mary, (Sandy is in Canada!), Tamerie, Deb and Tricia! And Joy and Sherry.... I missed you so much but I'll see you in a few short weeks!
But since I was home, I got to spend some time with this beautiful Cali peep Cynthia Flores:
On Sunday we did some antique shopping (I got a new head):
And we were able to take an Art Quilt class from local fabric diva Olivia Thomas of Olive Rose!! I made this- my mom is the photo on top, and I am in the bottom photo:
Work is a time vampire!
Once again it's interfering with my social life!!! Good thing I like it. I was going to take Cynthia to my favorite Phoenix shop spots, but I was called in to sub today and I had to go! Relationship building.....
I do get to see Cynthia again soon, since I decided to do this:
We've been to several of them together. Shame on me! But I expect to have a great time with my girlfriend Tamerie! For her Pay it Forward, she sent me this beautiful collage- tears sprung to my eyes when I saw it. You rock girlfriend- thank you!!!!!
I've got my roomies all lined up for Silver Bella- photo courtesy of Mendy!
I signed up for an online class with the woman behind Lipstick Ranch (see my right sidebar) so I indulged in some antique French ticking to use in some of my projects:
It's so precious and delicious!!!!
The above mentioned peeps will be coming to town for this event~ come on local peeps- get your tickets now!!!!!
I'm been lucky to have met, on-line, my lovely friend
Angie Hall Havilland when I first began crafting BB (before blog)when all I knew was Yahoo groups. Today she bestowed upon me this award, which means so much to me- thank you Angie!
